About Me

I am a writer and editor from Texas living in New York City. My work has appeared in Bon Appétit, ELLE, WSJ. magazine, the Village Voice, among others, and I have published fiction in Catapult, Juked, Pigeon Pages, and Paper Darts.

I've had the privilege of working at some incredible companies that have pushed me creatively and professionally. Most recently I served as the managing editor at Away’s Here Magazine, an award-winning travel and lifestyle publication. Before that I worked on the content & community team at Tumblr, after I was hired as their first intern right out of college.

I love to read and experiment in the kitchen and my preferred weekend activity involves wandering aimlessly at The Met.
